Ok, so mules aren’t new to the fashion game, but are very on trend right now. I’ve personally never owned a pair, something that has definitely changed this past week haha. I went from having none to four and I’m not sorry about it- they’re too cute! And with the unofficial start of Summer, there’s no better time to add some vibrant colors to my neutrals 🙂

Woven straps with a twist – the definition of visual interest!
These babies caught my attention when they popped up on an ad at the end of my Webtoon (anyone else a comic reader?!). What first jumped out was the color- vibrant orange for the win. But once I noticed that woven straps had a actual twist in them? SOLD. Aaand I have no chill, so I bought them in another color.

Squared toe with large cuff and an asymmetric lower strap – details, details, details!
Now, I’ve never been one to shop at places like Nordstrom. Don’t get me wrong- they sell great quality products and feature designs that will add volume to any wardrobe. I’ve just never gone haha. And that, my readers, is why it’s important to have other fashionistas around you! This beauty was featured by OohLaLaLand on her blog and Instagram and I legit drooled every time it came on my feed. Could not resist a moment longer! The bright yellow is all the shine you need and the mid-height heel makes it a great option as a pop of color in any outfit!

The new modern classic: a nude footbed surrounded by clarity!
Then of course I needed to have a staple, neutral mule. Something that I could use to up the ante of an outfit without causing competition for focus. I decided on a simple, but far from boring mule that features clear vinyl straps and that clear acrylic heel that’s been popular the last few years.

*deep inhale* I really do love shoes… But anywho’s, I’ll follow up with style posts featuring these lovelies soon! Right now, it’s anniversary time with the boyfriend (4 years, WHOOT!) and after all the time we’ve spent a part during the pandemic, I’ll be waaay too wrapped up in that to do much else!
Which pair is your favorite? What do you look for in your sandals? Impact, comfort, both? What are your go-to shoe spots?
